Verify your spreading

Spreading performance is key in high efficiency fertilization strategies. Adjusting you spreader according to the indication from spreader and fertilizer manufacturers is a necessary first step. Checking your actual spreader performance reveals hidden problems, deviations and mechanical issues that adversely affect yield, quality and cost.

The Yara Precise set facilities spreader testing in the field, enabling easy and fast control of spreading characteristics. It contains collections trays, bouncing guards, measuring tubes and a plastic funnel. Yara Precise is packed in a rugged transportation bag for easy outdoor use.

Check for even spreading

The trays are placed at regular intervals across the tractor path and fertilizer is collected. For each tray, the collected amount of fertilizer is measured in an individual tube. The resulting transversal profile immediately indicates whether spreading is even or not.

Manage complete fertilizer plan

Managing fertilization and calculating nutrient balances is becoming increasingly complex. Yara’s computer based tools have been designed by agronomists to make this job easier. The software package determines nutrient needs such as nitrogen, phosphate, potassium, magnesium as well as liming needs. Fertilization recommendations are given based on local regulations and best farming practices.

Yara Plan evaluates nutrient supply by mineral fertilizers, manure from various origins as well as atmospheric absorption by leguminous. Nutrient exportation include harvested products and exported crop residues.

Organize your office

Yara Plan helps keeping your records up to date and provides clear and precise documentation: farm data, overview about individual plots including soil data and crop rotation, fertilization plans for all plots, repartition of organic and mineral fertilizer by plot as well as official nutrient balances required by authorities. The software also provides purchasing assistance for fertilizer on a yearly basis.

Analyze plant nutrient status

Plant analysis reveals latent deficiencies of macro and micro nutrients. Nutrient specific growth disturbances are reliably detected and can be corrected early. Plant analysis is therefore a meaningful complement to soil analysis, since the latter can only determine soil contents and contributions, but not actual plant uptake. Especially in case of adverse soil and weather conditions, plant nutrient uptake needs attention to avoid deficiencies.

Yara Megalab™ complements Yara`s mobiles services. A network of more than 30 laboratories is continuously processing plant samples from Europe, North and South America, Australia, South Africa and the Far East. Using Yara Megalab™ is easy:

4. Upon 7 to 10 days, you will receive a detailed report and recommendations for supplemental crop nutrition.

Yara TankmixIT

Check mixability of liquids

Mixing mistakes can cause costly repairs and inefficient spraying. Yara TankMixIT is a mobile application to instantly check mixability of YaraVita™ foliar fertilizers with any commercially available crop protection agent/product.

The application is based on the results from thousands of individual multicomponent tank mix tests of YaraVita products with other spray components. Each tank mix test is carried out under controlled conditions in our product development laboratories and represents a fair measure of the performance of each mixture made.

Obtain immediate confirmation

All it needs to check mixability is to download the application from the store corresponding to your smartphone device. You can select spray materials either by trade name or active ingredient. A full list of all laboratory mixtures involving the two selected products and the result of the test is displayed upon interrogation of the Yara database. If the required combination is not found and the spray materials are available in our laboratories, a complementary text can usually be performed within a few hours.

Assess rapeseed nitrogen needs

Yara ImageIT turns your smartphone camera into a high-tech crop nitrogen tester. Crop needs can now be reliably assessed in the field without a need for a specific device other than your smartphone.

Evaluate nitrogen status

ImageIT determines nitrogen uptake of rapeseed based on the actual crop development. A comprehensive image analysis classifies leaf pixels, filters noisy areas and count leaf pixels. The app is compatible with the majority of smartphone cameras, and works even with low-resolution images. The application sends the photos over the network for automated analysis. In areas with low signal coverage, images are stored and processed once a 3G or wifi network becomes available.

Yara CheckIT

Identify nutrient deficiencies

Yara CheckIT is a mobile application that provides on-field assistance when analyzing crop deficiencies. It comes with an extensive database of high definition photos representing typical symptoms of nutrient deficiencies.

Check all current crops

Filtering the database by crop and symptom enables easy matching with the observed situation in the field. Once the symptoms being identified, the application offers detailed nutrition recommendations.
